Because God Lives in You….

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV)

Occasionally we go through life forgetting just how valuable and loved we really are. We get distracted by routines, weighed down by stress, or even feel like we are not good enough. Today’s guiding verse, however, reminds us that God lives in us.

The Temple of God

Think about that for a second. God created everything – the stars, the oceans, and the mountains – but He has chosen to make you His home. You are His temple. His Spirit actually lives in you because He loves you dearly.

This means you are never truly alone. When you feel overwhelmed, He is right there. When you are not sure of what to do next, God offers guidance. And when you feel broken or tired, His Spirit brings healing and strength. You don’t have to go searching for God in far-off places. He is already within you.

Because God Lives in You

Knowing this should change the way you see yourself and the way you live. If you are carrying God’s presence, then how you treat yourself and others really matters. Your choices, your attitudes, the way you love, and so on, all reflect who is living inside you.

Take a moment to let the truth in today’s key text sink in. God lives in you, walks with you, and wants to work through you. Will you cooperate with Him that He may transform your character to be like His?

Prayer
Almighty God, thank You for choosing to live in me. Help me live in a way that honors You. Remind me daily that I am never alone. You are with me, always.
