When God Writes His Story in People

Daily Devotional – Monday, June 16, 2025
You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men.
2 Corinthians 3:2 (NKJV)

You may not realize it, but your life is speaking, and loudly so. In our key text, Paul is telling the believers in Corinth something powerful: “You are our letter. People don’t need to see paperwork or recommendations. They just need to look at your lives.” In other words, how you live is a message to the world.

You are Our Epistle

Paul did not need a fancy title or stamped document to prove his ministry mattered. The evidence was in the people themselves: their changed hearts, their growing faith, and the way they loved each other. That was his proof. Today, we are still part of that same message.

There are people around you who may never read a Bible, never go to church, and never ask about Jesus, but they will notice your life. They will watch how you respond to pressure, how you treat people who can’t repay you, how you handle disappointment, or how you find peace in chaos. Therefore, ask yourself, what kind of story is my life telling?

When God Writes His Story in People

We may not be perfect, but when Christ is at work in us, our everyday choices, big or small, can reflect His grace. You don’t have to have it all together to be a letter of hope. Just let God keep writing His story in you, and let others read the real, growing, honest version of it.

Prayer
Christ Jesus, thank You for working in my life. Help me to live in a way that reflects Your love and hope. Let my actions and attitude show people who You are. Keep writing Your story in me.
