A Simple Way to Glorify God

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright, I will show the salvation of God.

When life becomes busy or challenging, we often forget to thank God for His innumerable blessings. We might pray for help, ask for strength, or cry out in pain, but how often do we pause just to be thankful?

Whoever Offers Praise

Today’s key text asserts that gratitude is a form of worship and not just a form of nicety. When we choose to thank God, especially when life is challenging, we are actually giving Him a gift.

God is not impressed by big, flashy acts. What He is looking for is a heart that remembers who He is and lives in response to that. A life that is aligned with His ways, marked by trust and thankfulness, brings Him honor.

Indeed, God has a wonderful promise for those who offer gratitude. When we are grateful, honest, and faithful, God shows up. He reveals His goodness, His presence, and His saving power in ways we may have never expected.

Today, even if your circumstances are messy or uncertain, there is a simple way to glorify God. It doesn’t have to be complicated. A simple statement of gratitude to God every day can become a powerful act of faith.

God, sometimes I forget how much You have already done for me. I get caught up in what is wrong or what I wish was different. Help me pause and offer praise and gratitude to you.
