I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places.
Isaiah 45:3 (NKJV)
There are times when, no matter how much you try, how consistent you are, or how many days you show up, nothing changes. You keep trying, waiting, and praying, but nothing changes. It can feel like your hard work isn’t being noticed or rewarded. Quietly, you begin to wonder if anything meaningful is actually happening at all.
What God Does in Secret
In Isaiah 45, God speaks about hidden treasures while addressing a situation that did not look spiritual at all. He was working through Cyrus, a king who didn’t even know Him. This means that it is not always easy to see or grasp what God is doing right away.
There are times when growth happens without anyone seeing it. Decisions you make, habits you build, and prayers you whisper may not produce instant results. Still, something is forming. God is shaping direction, building strength, and preparing outcomes that are not ready to be revealed yet.
When Nothing Seems to Change
It is easy to value what can be seen. Progress feels real when it is visible. Yet God often chooseHe operates in subtle ways, away from the spotlight. not draw attention. In those moments, trust becomes more than a word. It becomes a choice you make without evidence.
Stay where you are planted. Keep showing up, even when it feels unnoticed. Trust that God is not overlooking your faithfulness. What is hidden now will not stay hidden forever. Over time, His quiet actions will become clear and purposeful.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me trust that You are working even when I cannot see it.
