Above What We Ask or Think

Daily Devotional – Sunday, October 6, 2024
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)

How much do you ask God for in prayer? The Apostle Paul opines that God is able to fulfill our requests above what we ask or think. God has plans and purposes that go beyond our wildest expectations.

Exceedingly Abundantly

Consider the things you have been hoping or praying for. Have you limited God according to what you know or have experienced? Our limited intellect cannot limit the God we worship. His power, which works within us, is empowering and transformational.

Think for a moment about your present prayers. Are you requesting insignificant items? Push yourself to confidently pray and ask God for seemingly unattainable things. Recall that He enjoys having our trust. The unfathomable power of resurrection is available to work miracles in your life.

Above What We Ask or Think

Get ready to witness God work in unimaginable ways in your life. Record in your journal the times that God’s kindness and provision surprise you. Share your prayer requests with your closest believing friends. Allow them to pray and support you. Sometimes, expressing our hopes to one another can spark cooperation and faith.

Keep our key text close to your mind every day. Let it remind you that your God is an abundant God who can work to answer your prayers beyond your comprehension. Once you present your requests to God, ask for more faith, and live with the expectation of blessings above what you ask or think.

Prayer
Almighty God, thank You because You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think.
