Are You the Lord’s Witness?

“You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “and My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.”
Isaiah 43:10 (NKJV)

In addition to being saved by His grace, believers are selected to bear witness to His righteousness, faithfulness, and omnipotence. We are to proclaim who God is, not just through mere profession, but through godly character.

Represent Me

Our key text focuses on three critical matters: First, we need to know God intimately in order to establish a relationship with Him. This is a close, everyday walk with Him through a life of devotion to Bible study, prayer, and obedience.

The second is that we should have complete faith in God, His promises, and His purposes rather than only admitting His presence. Third, we need to realize that He alone is God. No one compares to Him. He is infallible, eternal, and in control of the entire universe. He never changes, unlike human beings and nature in general.

Are You the Lord’s Witness?

In order to be a witness, we must demonstrate God’s presence in our lives through our words, deeds, and reactions to life’s obstacles. In our communities, families, and workplaces, we have the chance to demonstrate God’s character to the world by being obedient, loving, and faithful.

Are you the Lord’s witness? Do you really know God personally, or is He just a mere acquaintance? Do you trust God and live in faith even in the face of adversity? Does your life serve as evidence of His transforming power?

Father in heaven, give me the strength to be Your witness. May my character attract others to You.
