Engage in Unceasing Praise

Daily Devotional – Sunday, September 22, 2024
And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day long.
Psalm 35:28 (NKJV)

David makes a strong vow to never stop praising and proclaiming the righteousness of God. It serves as a lovely reminder of how our words can convey our beliefs and connection to God. Speaking of God’s goodness and righteousness can change not just our hearts but also the hearts of people around us in a world full of diversions and negativity.

I Will Praise You all Day Long

Think about the importance of discussing God’s righteousness. Being righteous is a style of living that emulates God, not just a theological idea. We are reminded of His justice, mercy, and unwavering love when we confess His righteousness. This acknowledgement strengthens our sense of thankfulness and encourages us to practice our faith in a genuine way.

Establish the practice of thanking God for His goodness and faithfulness at the beginning of each day. Seek out opportunities to show others the goodness of God during the course of the day. Show others what it means to live in accordance with His will by letting your actions be a reflection of His justice and love. Take a few minutes to pray and ask God to direct your thoughts and speech.

Engage in Unceasing Praise

Let us make a commitment to become a people whose mouths bless and magnify God. By doing this, we glorify Him and open the door for others to see the beauty of a life lived in His presence. May we live as an example of His goodness, illuminating the world with His light by engaging in unceasing praise.

Pray
Almighty God, may I honor You with my words and inspire others to pursue Your truth.
