Feeling Like Giving Up?

The LORD upholds all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down.
Psalms 145:14 (NKJV)

Life often knocks us down. Whether it is a mistake we have made, a struggle that caught us off guard, or simply the weight of everything we are carrying, we all have moments when we feel like giving up. Therefore, when we are in that place, we may wonder if God is still there and paying attention. Our key text affirms that God upholds and raises us up when we fall.

God Uphold Those Who Fall

God does not expect us to have it all together. In fact, He specializes in meeting us right where we are, especially when we are low. He doesn’t turn away when we fall; He reaches down to steady us. He doesn’t shame us when we’re overwhelmed; He gently lifts our heads and reminds us we are not alone.

God sees your tears, your tiredness, and your quiet prayers in the middle of the night. And instead of asking you to figure it all out on your own, He offers His strength. He holds you up. He carries you through.

Feeling Like Giving Up?
If today feels heavy, if you are feeling like you have slipped or are barely holding on; take heart. God is with you, not watching from a distance, but right in the mess with you. Indeed, He will not let you stay down.

Prayer
God, sometimes I feel like giving up because of life’s pressures. Thank You for not giving up on me, even when I struggle. Help me feel Your strength when I am weak, and lift me when I can’t lift myself. I trust You to hold me up.
