God Remembers We are Dust

Daily Devotional – Saturday, April 26, 2025
For He knows our frame. He remembers that we are dust.
Psalms 103:14 (NKJV)

It is such a relief to know that God truly knows us—not just the version we show to others, but who we are deep down. Our weaknesses do not catch Him off guard. After all, He made us. He knows exactly how He wired us. He remembers we are dust.

He Knows Our Frame

The psalmist is not trying to make us feel bad or small. He is showing us just how deeply compassionate God is. God is kind, patient, and full of love. The key text explains why: He knows we are human. We are not perfect. We are fragile. We mess up, but even with all that, we are still completely loved.

There are times when we are hard on ourselves for not being strong enough. We push to keep everything together, trying to look like we have got it all figured out. However, God gently reminds us we don’t have to do it all on our own. His love does not depend on how well we perform. He knows we are only human—and He loves us anyway.

God Remembers We are Dust

God remembers you are dust. You don’t have to put on a front or try to be more than you are. God sees all of you, knows you completely, and still loves you deeply. When you are tired, He gives you rest. When you mess up, He meets you with grace. Even in your most fragile moments, He brings life and hope.

Prayer
Almighty God, thank You for truly knowing me—inside and out—and still loving me. I find peace in knowing that even though I am fragile, You are my steady strength.
