How God Empowers Us to Fulfil Our High Calling

Therefore, we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power.
2 Thessalonians 1:11 (NKJV)

We frequently question whether we are fulfilling our high calling. Paul prays for Thessalonian Christians that God may provide them the ability to fulfill their calling. This means letting God mold us into individuals undergoing divine transformation rather than trying to earn salvation through our own efforts.

Worthy of this Calling

The apostle reminds us that it is only God that strengthens us to live according to His will. He does not leave us to carry out His calling on our own. God is the one who completes our endeavors when we act in faith and strive for kindness.

God has given you the desire to serve, love, and establish His kingdom. He is working within you, even if you feel weak, unworthy, or unsure. He is strengthening your faith-based deeds, molding your character, and making sure your life produces fruit for His honor.
