How to Lean on the Listening God

Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.
Psalms 55:17 (NKJV)

There are many burdens in life that seem too big to bear. We go through heartbreaks, betrayals and depressing times. David expresses his anguish and cries out to God. Nevertheless, in the midst of his suffering, he makes a strong statement: Because God listens, the psalmist will pray every day, morning, noon, and night.

He Shall Hear My Voice

This verse serves as a reminder of a fundamental reality: God is constantly listening. He listens to His children’s cries at all hours of the day. He never disregards, never disregards, and never disregards the significance of our petitions.

David’s tenacity in praying demonstrates the value of unshakable faith. He creates a pattern of communication with God rather than praying once and then giving up. This shows us that prayer should be a regular way to commune with God rather than resorting to a sporadic activity. We ought to maintain an ongoing relationship with God regardless of the difficulties or pleasures we encounter.
