I Will Deliver You

Call upon Me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.
Psalms 50:15 (NKJV)

God makes a strong call in our key text, urging us to turn to Him in the midst of difficulties and hardships. God assures us that He is with us in our struggles. In addition to listening to us, God also promises to save us from our problems.

Call Upon Me in the Day of Trouble

Calling on God is an act that demands confidence and faith. It recognizes both His boundless power and our limitations. However, our guiding verse serves as a reminder that only God can truly deliver us.

Consider the occasions you have encountered challenges, whether they were unanticipated events, interpersonal disputes, or personal hardships. Did you first turn to God? There is a profound lesson in realizing that seeking God should be our initial course of action. Calling on the Lord strengthens the relationship He wants with us.

I Will Deliver You

Consider the times during the day when you might be depending on your own knowledge or abilities. Do you have any burdens that you need to give to God? Spend some time in prayer, asking Him to intervene in those circumstances and putting your faith in His ability to save you.

Take a moment to express your gratitude to God for His support during difficult times. Ask Him to remind you to turn to Him in times of need. Allow Him to teach you to glorify Him when He responds to your distress and to have faith that He will deliver you again in the future. As we rely on His strength, your faith will grow stronger.
