If You Can Believe

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 9:23 (NKJV)

“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Jesus’ words in Mark 9:23 are profoundly uplifting and impactful. He talks about the kind of faith that makes the impossible possible. Christ spoke these words in response to a parent who was pleading in vain but with hope that his son would heal.

All Things are Possible

Faith is an active confidence and dependence on God. It is more than merely passive agreement or intellectual acceptance. It entails placing our faith in His omnipotence, kindness, and promises even in the face of seemingly illogical situations. Beliefs like this have the ability to move mountains and make God’s power visible in our lives.

Jesus’ words serve as a reminder that nothing is beyond His reach when we confront obstacles, be they related to our health, finances, relationships, or personal struggles. Our trust is based on God’s ability to act, not on our capacity to triumph.

If You Can Believe

We must routinely study and reflect on God’s promises in order to strengthen our faith. Our faith grows stronger the more time we spend in His Word. We need to approach God with the hope that He will grant our prayers. Moreover, we must have faith in God’s goodness and strength when we pray.

Think back to a time when God has heard your prayers and helped you get through challenging situations. Remembering God’s past interventions in your life will embolden your faith. When things are tough, always remember that If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.
