Let No One Despise You

Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.
Titus 2:15 (NKJV)

Have you ever felt like your voice didn’t matter? Perhaps it is due to your age, your upbringing, or your attempt to lead a virtuous life in a society that doesn’t consistently appreciate it? It is possible to feel small or unsure when others question your place or your message. That is why God reminds us not to let anyone despise us.

Speak with Authority

Titus was a young man, leading a church and teaching people how to live out their faith in a challenging culture. Paul told him, “Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.” Why? Titus was expressing God’s truth, not merely his personal viewpoints.

That same encouragement applies to you. If you are living for Christ and sharing His truth, whether through words or just by the way you live, stand tall in that. You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room, but you do need to be faithful.

Let No One Despise You

People may not always welcome your message, but don’t let that shake you. Your confidence doesn’t come from your personality or credentials. It comes from knowing who sent you.

Prayer
Almighty God, help me to speak with love, to live with integrity, and to stand firm in the truth You have given me. Give me courage when I feel weak, and remind me that I represent You, not myself.
