Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NIV)
Imagine an adult who returns to school after many years. Classes feel hard, and balancing work and family seems exhausting. Still, they attend lessons, study when others sleep, and ask God for strength. Slowly the grades improve and confidence grows. That is the power of steady effort.
Rising Above Obstacles
We all carry dreams in our hearts. We write goals, plan our steps, and try to guard ourselves from distractions. Yet plans alone are not enough. For them to become reality, we must give our best. Scripture reminds us that life on earth is limited, so we should use our time wisely and work wholeheartedly.
Think about a huge tree in a forest. For years its roots push through hard ground for water. It faces storms and heat but still stands tall. Its strength comes from quiet, consistent growth. Our lives work the same way. Between you and your God-given goals are obstacles, critics, and discouragements.
The Courage to Give Your All
Nehemiah faced people like Sanballat and Tobiah who tried to stop his work, yet he kept building. When we focus on problems, we feel like quitting, but when we keep our eyes on the goal, we find courage to continue.
Following Jesus also needs determination. Scripture warns us not to be lukewarm but to be fully devoted to God. As we serve, give, pray, and share the gospel with persistence, God shapes our character and prepares us for eternal life.
Whatever your hand finds to do, in every area that God approves, give it your best and trust Him with the results.
Prayer
Almighty Father, help me to give my all in every task and walk faithfully with you.
