When Tears Shall Flow No More

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
Revelation 21:4 (NKJV)

Life is often filled with heartache, pain, and unanswered questions. We carry wounds that don’t always heal quickly, and the weight of grief can feel crushing. Nonetheless, in the middle of it all, God promises that soon our tears shall flow no more.

God Will Wipe Away Every Tear

Pain, death, and sorrow will not last forever. They are not part of the forever story God is writing. For those who trust in Him, God is not far away from our pain. He sees the tears you cry in silence. He knows the burdens you carry that no one else notices.

Moreover, God doesn’t just sympathize. He acts. In the fullness of time, He will personally wipe away every tear from our eyes. Think about that: not an angel, not a distant voice, but God Himself. That’s how close He is. That’s how much He cares.

When Tears Shall Flow No More

The things that break our hearts now—death, pain, crying, loss—will be gone. Erased. Because in His new creation, the brokenness of this world will be completely undone. What feels heavy today will one day feel light. What seems endless now will come to an end in the arms of a loving God.

One day, every sorrow will be replaced by joy. That is not just a pleasant thought. It is a promise from the God who never breaks His word. What grief or struggle are you holding onto? Bring it to God. Remember, a day is coming when our tears shall flow no more.

Almighty God, thank You for the assurance that one day soon, You will bring our suffering to an end and wipe away all our tears.
