Why We Must Be Resilient

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

The capacity to weather life’s storms, overcome misfortune, and come out on the other side stronger and more resolute in our faith is called resilience. It is not only expected of us as Christ’s disciples to persevere through hardships, but also to overcome them with the help of divine might.

Be Buoyant

The secret to resilience, according to the apostle Paul, is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). These sentences capture a profound truth that is greater than our own capabilities. Our ability to bounce back is rooted on God’s unwavering grace, not in our own strength or volition.

Being resilient does not make one impervious to suffering or adversity. It implies that we hold onto the hope that God is with us, supporting us with His love and giving us the strength to continue even in the darkest of circumstances. Job is a great illustration of resiliency in the Bible. Despite going through horrific circumstances, he stayed faithful to God.

Why We Must Be Resilient

We must be resilient at difficult times and resist giving in to hopelessness or uncertainty. Our faith is put to the test and strengthened just in these circumstances. Our difficulties become chances for growth when we turn to God in prayer and focus on His Word, molding us into expressions of His kindness and grace.

Whatever difficulties you may be having today, remember that you are not alone. God is with you, giving you the ability to walk in His strength and conquer all challenges. May you discover solace in His presence, bravery in His assurances, and fortitude in His kindness. Be resilient.
