Celebrating the ‘Shaper’ and ‘Watcher’

He fashions their hearts individually. He considers all their works.
Psalms 33:15 (NKJV)

The main reading for today serves as a powerful reminder of God’s close participation in His people’s lives. God is depicted as the ‘Shaper’ and ‘Watcher’ who both creates us with a loving touch and has a keen eye over His creation.

He Fashions Their Hearts Individually

God creates our inner selves in addition to our outer selves. Our capabilities for faith, love, and reverence, as well as our motivations and goals, are not arbitrary. Our Creator purposefully created them. He is aware of our individual wiring, our challenges, and our talents.

Furthermore, just as a loving father looks affectionately at His children, God watches our actions. He witnesses every happy moment, every act of compassion, each tear we shed and even the transgressions we attempt to conceal. Nevertheless, He responds to what He observes with love, calling for repentance, development, and a closer bond with Himself rather than rejection.

Celebrating the ‘Shaper’ and ‘Watcher’

God is not done with us yet. He works on your heart every day, just like a potter. constantly shapes clay. He even uses hardship to mould us into His image. Knowing that He is molding you into the likeness of Christ, put your trust in His hands and give yourself over to His work.

Think about how God has shaped your heart in a certain way. Has He given you any talents, passions, or burdens? Take time to express your gratitude to God – the ‘Shaper’ and ‘Watcher’ who loves His creation unconditionally.

Heavenly Father, I am grateful that You purposefully shaped me into a vessel for Your glory. Thank You for watching over me in a manner I cannot contemplate fully.
