Wisdom, Time Management and Soul-Winning

Daily Devotional—Sunday, February 9, 2025
Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
Colossians 4:5 (NKJV)

Our main text exhorts us to live sensibly, particularly while surrounded by people who are not yet followers of Christ. Our faith is revealed in large measure by the way we live our lives. For some people, we are the only Jesus they see. Therefore, the Lord’s character should be reflected in our words, deeds, and decisions.

Redeeming the Time

Walking in wisdom is being deliberate about our witness, asking God for direction in our relationships, and reacting with kindness rather than rage. Further, redeeming entails seizing every chance to spread the gospel. As good stewards of time, let us preach the gospel, do good deeds, or just lead a life that leads people to God.

Ask God to give you insight and direction in your interactions with people, especially those who are not Christians. Allow the Holy Spirit to make you a light in your home, community, and place of employment. There is a chance to reflect Christ in every action. and discussion. Be kind to everyone around you, act honorably, and speak with love.

Wisdom, Time Management and Soul-Winning

Don’t pass up chances to spread the love of God. An act of service, a simple word of support, or interceding for a person in need can have a lasting effect. Seek out chances to demonstrate Christ’s love this week with both your words and deeds. Ask God for the power to apply wisdom, redeem time, and eventually win souls.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom to make the most of the time You have given me. May my life serve as an example for others who haven’t met You yet.
