This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalms 118:24 (NKJV)
We all love special days. We have them in plenty: birthdays, weddings, graduations, baptisms, national days and worship days, among others.
On these days, we are happier and re-energized than normal. We eat special meals with family and friends. To ensure we remember the events for years to come, we take photos and videos.
If you love special days, you will be happy to hear this: every day can be exceptional. The Bible says, “This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalms 118:24).
It all depends on your attitude. You can decide to make every day a special gift from God to you. If you start and end the day with God, it will be a memorable one despite any unwelcome circumstances.
When you, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding,” (Proverbs 3:5), your will rejoice and be glad every day. If you acknowledge God in all your ways today “…He shall direct your paths” (v. 6).
Today, God has given you another gift. You can choose to complain about the challenges you face, or view them as stepping stones towards achieving your targets and goals. You can call this a special day and go about rejoicing as you earn your daily bread.
God has placed the gift of ‘today’ in your hands. Will you choose to rejoice and be glad in it?
Father, I accept the gift of this day that you have so graciously given to me. I choose to rejoice and be glad today, despite any challenge I might face.

Every day is a gift from God. We should embrace everyday with thanksgivings.

Indeeed He gives a special gift of day to everyone. There is a hymn…that i like personally , hymn 532…day by day
In the first stanza , it says that “He whose heart is kjnd beyond all messure , gives unto each day what what He deems best ”
And as Horatio spaford said , so do i today “whatever my lot may be , He has tought me to say it is well with my soul ”
Be blessed
