I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27 (NIV)
One of the greatest lessons the Israelites learned during and after the exodus was that there is nothing too hard for God. After more than four centuries of slavery in Egypt, nothing had prepared the current generation for the dramatic exit to Canaan.
God Knows no Impossibilities
Many of them could not see a way out of their situation. They lived in misery together with their offspring. What awaited them was death in unmarked graves. If someone had told them they would one day be free, they would have considered that a bad joke. On the appointed day, though, God led them out of bondage with His mighty hand.
Then came the Red Sea crossing. Behind the frightened fleeing slaves was the fearsome Egyptian army, led by none other than the Pharaoh. The helpless children of Jacob almost surrendered. Who would have imagined that God would part the mighty waters for His children to walk through?
Nothing Defeats the LORD
More miracles and manifestations of God’s supremacy awaited them in the wilderness. When they lacked food, God rained manna (angels’ food) from heaven for forty good years! They had no farms yet they never lacked food. Their supply of water came from rocks. Even their clothes and shoes did not wear out for four decades.
Because they obeyed the God who knows no impossibilities, the Israelites walked on the dry riverbed of Jordan River. The same God gave them victory over the heavily fortified city of Jericho. Indeed, the city’s wall came down, not by military power, but by divine intervention and the unquestioning trust of God’s people.
Is Anything too Hard for God?
This same God would later ask Prophet Jeremiah, “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). The experiences of the Israelites had taught Jeremiah that He served an infinite and unlimited God. No human condition or situation is beyond the LORD. What humans consider impossible is possible to Him.
Today, God wants you to trust Him with your challenges. He longs for you to trust Him with what appears impossible to you. Your unbearable health condition, finances difficulties and failing relationships are not too difficult for God. God will part your Red Sea and your River Jordan if you allow Him to. Is there anything too hard for God?

Amen, Indeed It was obvious that Sarah was facing an age long barrenness with many years in clinical and critical menopause. When conceiving and bearing a child at 90 looked impossible at that infact it is impossible,as far as reproductive health is concerned.
But God came to ask Sarah the question, was that situation too hard or difficult for God to redress? Eventually, Sarah conceived and gave birth to Isaac. Hebrews 11:11 “Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him Faithful and powerful who had promised”
Today, I choose to believe that God’s Power will silence my battles and obstinate challenges. Nothing is too hard or difficult for God.
Christ said, all things become possible to him that believes. Mark 9:23
May we put our trust in the omnipotent God.
Thank you for the comment, Doc. Abundant blessings to you.
Learning to trust in His power Lu is our greatest challenge
